I created this poster as a tribute to Aung San Suu Kyi, who is being kept in house arrest for almost 14 out of the past 20 years. Aung San Suu Kyi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991. The decision of the Nobel Committee mentions:

“Suu Kyi’s struggle is one of the most extraordinary examples of civil courage in Asia in recent decades. She has become an important symbol in the struggle against oppression”

I believe she is an amazing woman and I’m a strong supporter for her non-violent struggle for democracy and human rights. If you want to read more about the situation in Burma, this is a good start.
