Inspiration

Back from Vietnam

October 28, 2010

I just got back from a great and inspiring trip in Vietnam. I got the chance to see some of the lovely Paradise as well as the dark depressing side from the War and its victims. Horrible – but I’m happy I got a chance to see it with my own eyes and experience it with my own eyes. The trip also gave me lots of energy and inspiration and I’m just getting back my mindset to create new creative goodies. Thank you Vietnam!

Affliction Winter Collection 2010

Some of the new t-shirts from Afflictions winter collection of 2010 is pretty nice. I specially like these two, but then again, I’m a huge fan of skulls, evil birds and well executed, dark and powerful themes.

A stroke as gentle as a feather

Darren Newman from Manchester, England, created this beautiful piece of art. It’s drawn by hand and made for the Wooden Toy Quarterly (7th edition – the “Music” issue). It aims to document each artists personal views on the importance of music ‘vs’ influence and inspiration. The song illustrated here is from the soundtrack to the 1973 original film “The Wicker Man”, the song title is “Willow’s Song” and the line “A stroke as gentle as a feather”.
